Prayers and Reflections

Prayer has been a daily focal point in my life, mostly as an adult. In childhood, my prayers were all self-centered, mainly petitioning God for things for me. I matured in prayer, including prayers of supplication for others and for myself; prayers of thanksgiving; prayers of sorrow for my sins (contrition) and asking forgiveness; and prayers of adoration, praising God.I have long loved to read the Bible for inspiration and learning. I have read, reread, and contemplated various New Testament passages. The outcome of my reflections is included in my book for the reader to ponder.
