Prayer: A Divine Invitation

A Divine Invitation is about having an intimate relationship with God. We get to know who God is and what God has done for us. Knowing who God is helps us in our prayer life, where we can communicate with God freely and openly. Prayer is important to our spiritual lives just as breathing is important to our existence. It is the same way with prayer. If we refuse or stop, our spiritual life will cease to exist! It is just that simple! Plus, Jesus is our example when it comes to prayer. His life was saturated with prayer. He prayed at every juncture of His life. Prayer is an invitation that Christ gives to each of us so that we can come into His presence. We do not need the help of anyone else to approach the God of the universe. He s there waiting on us to come to Him in prayer. Prayer lets us know that we have Someone who listens to our supplications and answers them according to His will! Prayer is personal and intentional. Prayer allows us to feel the love that Jesus has for us. It draws us into His presence where we can find peace, joy, and contentment.
