Beginning on December 29, 1890, as two Indian boys find safety together midst a massacre, continuing as white settlers push ever westward, Prairie Moon is the heartfelt story of four families whose lives intertwine over more than a century. Coming full circle to the place where it begins - Wounded Knee, South Dakota - it is the best kind of historical fiction...one that offers hope for a better understanding of whom we are as a people.
