But what is a geometric problem, and in particular its solution by iterative approximation?I will not discuss or define the basic principles of Euclidean geometry, nor its origins, which are lost in the darkness of history, nor will I discuss its development. I merely want the reader to find a practical way to solve geometrical problems. At the same time, geometry should not only be considered a technician's, engineer's or scientist's field of work but as a toy that opens the way to an intellectually active mind, at the highest level.
