The Portus na hEireann, or "e;Irish Breviary,"e; is a Divine Office text based on the prayers and practices used within the Columbanian tradition. The new edition consists of an additional chapter that offers instructions on how to pray, a new format intended for group worship. These additions offer beginners a brief introduction and guidance on praying the Hours, while including all canonical hours' prayers as established within the early Irish church, with every psalm according to the Douay-Rheims Bible.
