Portrait of Shade

The fabled lost painting by Dion Taine entitled 'Trinity' finds its way to the art gallery owned by Eudora Donat. The subjects in the painting - The Emperors Constantine and Diocletian and Saint Spiridon - almost seem to be alive.One of them is - trapped by the dark arts within this portrait of shade and cursed to live eternally within the confines of the painting and its history.But what if this trapped soul could escape? Is he good or evil?Eudora's life is endangered when someone comes looking for the painting, intent on acquiring it at any cost. She is saved by a mysterious figure......a figure from the past who returns with her to Constantinople of the Sixteenth Century where she learns the truth surrounding the creation of the painting 'Trinity'.Can she escape the clutches of a mad man and return to her own time?Or does fate have something more sinister in store for her?
