Poetry and Pop-ups

Lesson plans and exercises teach the basic elements of poetry such as alliteration, word repetition, metaphors, and rhyming. As students gain appreciation and understanding, the book covers more sophisticated poetry forms such as limerick, haiku, and narrative. Grades 4-6.
