"Playtime with Izzy" introduces a girl whose world is limited only by her imagination. "Playtime with Izzy" is the first book in The Imaginary Friend Chronicles. The series follows Izzy as she discovers her imaginary friend, Rose. She meets Alsie, and they discover Izzy can see everyone's imaginary friend. Book 4 finds Doctor Izzy helping Alsie's imaginary friend, Dragon with a little fire-breathing problem. The summer passes by and Izzy and Alsie go to school. There they find a lot of lost and forgotten imaginary friends looking for a new child to be friends with. They discover that school is not a good place for lost and forgotten imaginary friends to hang out and have to find another place for Izzy to match them with new children. In book 6 word gets out to the other lost and forgotten imaginary friends and they are all coming to Izzy's house. Too many for Izzy to handle alone. Izzy learns that all imaginary friends come from a magic world called Imagicity and has to find a way to get Alsie to help with the matching process. Book 7 finds Izzy and Alsie transported to Imagicity, a place where imaginary friends learn how to be anything that a child would want in an imaginary friend. In the end, Izzy discovers a little girl can have a big impact, with a little help from her friends.
