"Every musical performance is unique. A piece can be played many times, but each time is different; no two performances are ever quite the same. Each time is a new manifestation of the performer's creative will" (A. Goldenweiser). The widespread development of musical culture has determined the important place occupied by performance in contemporary social life, its great significance as an artistic and ethical force that influences the spiritual world of human beings. The performer is the link between the composer and the listener. It is important for the performer to have a subtle understanding and feeling for the psychology of the listener, a keen sense of the aesthetic demands and moods of the audience, an accurate conveyance of the author's intention, the ability to subjugate the audience to their will, and the ability to awaken beautiful aesthetic feelings and a creative mood in the listener.
