Pheromone Traps of Cabbage Diamond Back Moth

In recent years, diamond back moth has become a major limiting factor for successful cabbage cultivation in India. DBM is known to cause yield loss from 31 per cent to 100 per cent. The trapping of moths by synthetic sex pheromones can provide a sound basis for timely application of pesticides and working out suitable control strategies. Pheromone traps are mainly used for monitoring, mass trapping, mating disruption and dissemination of entomopathogens.
