Peter Pan

Sir James Matthew Barrie (1860-1937), 1st Baronet, was a Scottish author and dramatist, popularly known as the creator of Peter Pan. The son of a weaver, Barrie gained his education at the University of Edinburgh. He took up journalism, worked for a Nottingham newspaper, and contributed to various London journals. He also, wrote a number of successful novels and plays which are read and appreciated till date.
