Performance analysis of no-till cereal farms

The present work focused on the environmental impact of no-till combined with chemical weed control using glyphosate. The aim of this work was to assess the environmental impact of no-till farming in combination with glyphosate-based chemical weed control, with a view to the possible adoption of no-till as an alternative technique to old farming practices, while addressing social and environmental issues. First, a characterization of the performance of some cereal farms subjected to direct seeding in the wilaya of S tif was carried out. Subsequently, the extracted results were exploited in the field in order to evaluate the environmental consequences of direct seeding under open field conditions.
