When a frantic woman bursts into police headquarters one day claiming her ex-husband has taken their seven-year-old son with plans to harm him, Wichita Falls detectives Horace Brown and partner Randy Miller set out to find the two before it's too late. They are successful in locating the child's father but he is alone, and his tale of the boy's whereabouts sounds like something straight out of a popular sci-fi movie.
