Peninsula

Monique, a teenager, dislikes being a German citizen and living in Germany. She feels she is suffering from the stigma and taboo attached to its history, of Nazism and her family's involvement in the Hitler Youth Movement. She becomes xenophobic, developing an intense hatred based on historic situations before she was born.

One day Monique receives a lifeline A chance to leave her homeland and start a new life in Spain with her uncle's family, where she can change her nationality to Spanish. She packs her bags and takes a flight to the Peninsula where her uncle, his wife and precocious daughter live. Life changes for Monique. The dreamer now lives in paradise. There at the paradisiacal Peninsula, her ultimate dream has become a reality A dream come true.
