In year 10,000 BCE, the Hamawtha Wiraqocha journeyed from Lake Titicaca-the fabulous blue sea which lies at 12,000 ft asl across the border between Peru and Bolivia-to the Manta harbor, in Ecuador's southern coastline. From there, the Hamawtha led a fleet of six hundred wampu balsas to circumnavigate the South Pacific Ocean, all the way to Australia, theHawaii archipelago, and Rapa Nui. His mission was to teach the Pacha-Yacha sacred principles of wisdom to the survivors of the Pachakuti-a global catastrophe which had just destroyed the Earth-in order to help them rebuild their communities and regain their former prosperity.
