path of suffering

Anna has died and will never come back. So, for the first time in over 40 years of traveling, living, and happiness, I am standing alone at the airport with tears in my eyes. I am on my way to Turkmenistan, from where I will travel overland to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia. I must and want to make this journey, because otherwise I would fall into an even deeper hole. I cannot yet imagine how much suffering, pain, but also how many wonderful things I will experience. I will also meet my son, which was not even remotely planned.
