The doctrine of Mahayana is both wide and deep, and can hardly be treated of exhaustively. But Should the readers carefully study the few chapters of this treatise, they will be able to form Clear ideas of the doctrine itself. A few words upon the arrangements and connections Of the Chapters in this treatise may not, the author thinks, be altogether useless to the readers.
