Outer Darkness

Lenore Kavaranian is a hapless young woman without much direction in life outside of pursuing a degree at the local community college. After her dishonest boyfriend dumps her, she moves on with the seemingly innocuous Seth, but when she agrees to move in with him and his overbearing mother, all her dreams for a better life are put on hold. Finding solace in a strange religion and the comfort of a family friend in a similar situation, Lenore soon finds that she is trapped in her chaotic world in more ways than one...
