Our True Great High Priest: He ever lives to make intercession for us

Jesus Christ is our true great high priest. He sits next to God the Father as our advocate. When we pray to Him for strength to over sin and forgiveness of our sins-He applies His righteousness to us. There is no other way for our sins to be forgiven except through Jesus Christ. The bible says: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9"
