Our Kindergarten Sight Word Book: Illustrated by Ms. Barca's Kindergarten Class

This book was created by children for children. This engaging and visually stimulating book introduces children to the 52 Kindergarten Sight Words. Kindergarteners from Horatio Hackett Elementary School collaborated with artists from Portside Arts Center to create this book during the Portside ArtsMobile Project Residency Program. During this six- month arts integration residency children fulfilled Common Core Literacy Standards in Word Recognition while exploring the art concepts of pattern and composition. All proceeds from the sale of this book will support the Portside Arts Arts Center ArtsMobile Project which brings arts integration into public schools.
