Oromo Children's Dictionary

Oromo Children's Dictionary is a handbook for growing the Oromo vocabulary of the children in your life.

Remember the date you taught these carefully curated Oromo words to your favourite children.

• Teach children about basic concepts of time like "day", "hour", "year", and "month" in Oromo and English
• Build on the vocabulary from "My First Oromo Dictionary"
• Recognize 500 words in Oromo
• Memorise 3 words a day and finish learning all words in 6 months.

At kasahorow, we celebrate differences but promote unity. We currently use the most universal or common translations for a word. We are aware that there are other language varieties that use different translations and we hope that in the future, we can create books that will include all variations.
