Organisational Behaviour: Business

Business organizations work as a system made of men, machine and money. Of these, the most complicated is the human being. Organizational Behaviour is a study of the behaviour of this component of the business system. The emphasis here is on understanding the behaviour of workers at all levels of an organization. Human behaviour at work is affected by a variety of forces. The work environment, the organization system, the formal/ informal groups etc. all affect the way a person responds to a given situation at work. In addition to these organizational factors, behaviour is also affected by the personal factors like family conditions, background, economic condition, grooming, social status, intelligence, ability to comprehend situations etc.
