Cu-15Ni-8Sn alloy (C72900, ASTM grade) has broad application prospects in key fields such as marine engineering, oil and gas exploitation and seawater desalination due to its excellent comprehensive properties such as high strength and high hardness. With the development of marine industry, more and more attention has been paid to the application of the alloy material in the marine environment, and people put forward higher requirements for the mechanical and abrasive properties of the material. The Cu-15Ni-8Sn alloy prepared by traditional metallurgical casting process will form dendritic structure with large-scale Sn segregation, and Sn segregation will become more and more serious with the increase of ingot size. Although the large-scale segregation of Sn can only be partially eliminated by traditional cold deformation and heat treatment optimization process, the mechanical properties of the alloy can be improved to a certain extent, but for the local corrosion and corrosion wear caused by Sn segregation, it is still a key scientific problem that limits the application of this alloy in the field of marine engineering.
