The main objective of this book is to present some of the Optimal Placement methods of Unified Power Quality Conditioner (U.P.Q.C.) in Radial Distribution Systems. Within the scope of this book, the optimal UPQC placement problem is solved for the objective of Power Loss Minimization (PLM) and Voltage Deviation Minimization (VDM) and analyzed with various optimization methods.
