One Hundred Days

Mary Chadwick is bored: little does she know how much her life is about to change! It is not every day one meets a ghost. Nor is it every day or even every year that Mary acquires a boyfriend. What a shame the two of them cannot get on because her new ghostly friend Mike is staying. Mike tells Mary he has returned because he has business to take care of but promises to help her look for a young kidnap victim Mary recognises from the bus to work. Together, they investigate ransom demands, suspects and sightings but to no avail. However, encouraged by Mike s assurance that the child is safe and waiting for her to take him home, Mary continues her hunt. Running out of clues and with no sign of the boy anywhere, Mary is warned by a clairvoyant that if she does not find him, the child will die on Day 100. And as if that were not enough, Mike is escorted back to the Other Realm over his part in a car accident which nearly kills boyfriend Ben, leaving Mary to solve the mystery and save the little boy alone.
