Mia Jensen is twelve years old. She has grown up in a small town, and her life has been uneventful. She often wishes something interesting would happen, but when Mia gets her "e;something interesting,"e; it is not at all like she imagined. As Mia s life is upended and she begins to question everything she s ever known, her faith comes under examination. If God loves her so much, why would he let her suffer? With her life upside-down, Mia turns to the people around her for answers. She must choose between bitterness and faith.
