Ode for the Time Being

This book of poems began as an homage to the author's love of marine life and science. It grew when the loss of her husband kindled poems reflecting profound feelings of sorrow. The author's natural curiosity and thrill of new discoveries inspired poems about key scientific break thoughs. The latter subjects bookend the central poems, both humorous and clever, about the myriad of fascinating animals and their hidden lives within the ocean.
