Ours is the only vehicle on the trail. We go bouncing along with wind in our hair, dust in our mouth, head banging the roof, and all the while, the dashboard audio loudly blaring songs like I'm a Barbie girl in the Barbie world... Come on, Barbie, let's go party

A wrinkled old woman quickly picks up her phone and clicks a picture. It's obvious she has not seen in her long life, a group trekking in a jeep, and with such pomp.

We are in Nepal on a mission to trek to the basecamp of Annapurna. Little do we know that we will soon be crawling on all fours on the mountain.
