A chance meeting in a quiet corner of a bar leaves me furious, doubting my life choices. Who does he think he is anyway? Just because Cam North is a tall, smoking hot hockey god doesn't mean he can talk to me like that.

I'm done being a doormat for anyone. He was burned before? That's not my problem.

What he doesn't know is who I actually am and why I'm about to make his life a whole lot more complicated.

I have one goal-make the Lowball Bay Sea Dragons ice hockey team as good as I know they can be. To do that, I need to keep a safe distance between me and the players. I can't lose my perspective.
