Noah, the Ark, and the Animals is the second book in the series--The Treehouse Adventures of Nate-Nate and Maxie Dog. Once again a boy and his best friend are ready to set sail on an imaginary journey unencumbered by space and time. Rain has been falling for several days so they set sail hoping to locate a dry place where they heard a biblical hero lives. Upon meeting the older gentlemen they learn he and his family have been working diligently on a building project and are faced with a crucial deadline. Nate-Nate and Maxi Dog jump right in to lend a hand in hopes that they can help the family finish the project on time.
