No Ordinary Tree

These poems were written over a period of about 55 years.My first poem was the one entitled, Words of Me. I was sittingin Biology class and in the ninth grade when I wrote it. My husbandwould sometimes give me a subject and ask me to write a poem about it. He suggested I write about a severe ice storm that occurred in 1994.Thus was born Ice Storm ''94 . Everything in that poem actuallyhappened just as I wrote it (even the guinea). Yonder in Glory waswritten shortly after my mother died. It, as well as many of the otherpoems, were written as songs, but none were set to music. The melodies are all just in my head.Many of my poems are written as a testament to my Savior,Jesus Christ; and in them, I give Him praise. Without Him I couldnot have written a poem or sung a song. These poems have given me great pleasure throughout theyears and I hope they bring you much joy.
