An autobiographical account of a young girl's life from 1930 to 1989, covering her time in Germany during Hitler's rise to power, and subsequently time in both pre and post-war Paris, moving eventually to London, where she settled,trained as a teacher, and met her husband George, and now considers her home.Since retiring she has written several books,including this one in German: "Frankfurt-meine erste Heimat" which she took to schools for reading and discussion in Germany.
