Ningxia Bagatelle. Volume 1

Ningxia ditty is the interphase performance of talking and singing with dialectal accent of Ningxia. It is mainly singing and combined with spoken parts. The traditional way of performing is usually that one person stands and sings short story program with hand hitting the clapper and another person holds Sanxian to accompany; or two people seated cooperate to sing medium and long story programs which is that one person plays Sanxian himself or talk and sing with accompaniment of Huqin and another person holds simple board or clapper to hit with rhythm for accompaniment and helps sing.
