What can Nikki do to make her mother happy again?Will the storm in Nikki and her mother's life ever end?Does God hear her prayers?When will the rainbow come?To Parents, Teachers, and Counselors:I wrote this book to encourage children to tell a teacher, counselor, or minister if they are hurt, or feel unsafe in their home. I also wanted children to learn about depression and discuss it with an adult after reading the book. Sometimes family members don't feel comfortable getting counseling for different reasons. I wrote the story to show that prayer and counseling can help family members heal.
