Nick, The Superior Superhero

When Nick moves to Texas with his family, he already has enough trouble on his hands. Being an outcast in Jefferson Middle School and constantly being picked on by Brutus, the school bully, Nick is ready to collapse in frustration. But after a tornado whisks him into the Chihuahuan desert, he discovers a mysterious green lake owned by a man with a scarred face, and drinks from it. A few days later, Nick discovers he has superpowers. His life changes forever when the man with the scar turns out to be someone far worse than Brutus, dwarfing all his previous troubles in school. He is forced to go on a dangerous adventure, and it could very well take his life...
