New device for mounting models in articulators

Mounting models in semi-adjustable articulators is an essential step in numerous dental procedures. This work presents a new device for mounting upper models in articulators and compares its reproducibility to that of the facebow. The subject is extremely current and relevant, given that the survival rate of syndromic patients who may have misaligned or even absent auricles is increasing, as is their prevalence in dental clinics, in addition to the fact that the effectiveness and accuracy of the facebow has been widely discussed in the literature.
