Ben L Valencia has had his share of trials and tribulations in his life. As a young boy, he felt helpless when his unfaithful father caused misery to his Christian mother. Ben was drafted into the U.S. Army and sent to the Vietnam war. There, he experienced several incidents where God prevented him from getting killed. He witnessed horrific things, and returned home as a wounded veteran with PTSD. When he was on trial for a crime he didn't commit, his PTSD was used against him, and he was sent to prison.
A big change in Ben's life took place one Christmas Eve as he prayed to The Lord. Yes, he still had problems, but he now knew he didn't have to face them alone. When mean hateful prisoners tried to kill him, and when he faced conflicts and illnesses in his life, The Lord was always near. Ben praises The Lord for all He has done in his life.
