Gender dysphoria is a cruel and harsh reality for so many. This reality can make a person feel as though they are born into a body that does not fit their mind, which can be emotionally crippling. For someone to feel so strongly that they are born into the wrong gender yet feel unable to disclose those deepest, darkest secrets for fear of being ousted by those they love, it can be enough to consider - or indeed act upon - taking their life. Suicide amongst the Trans community is common, as often a way forward through the emotional pain cannot be seen. It can make someone in this position feel that they may inflict this pain on their loved ones. Let's reach out to those people and let them know that they are not alone. - Daniel Kye Canter
