Neurofibromatosis type 1

The reader who reads this book will come across analyses of reports of experiences of people with Neurofibromatosis type 1, a genetic, multisystemic disease with unpredictable manifestations and course and little publicised in non-scientific circles. These reports are the result of the sum of the work developed with patients at the Neurofibromatosis Reference Centre of Minas Gerais, linked to the Hospital das Cl nicas of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, and of the conclusion work of my academic research by the Adult Health programme of the School of Medicine of the same University.
