We can all admit that at some point, we didn''t want to go to school, especially on the very first day. In this tale, readers see that there''s no reason to feel that way, because school is actually, way cool. Books of the Neighborhood Readers Program build early literacy skills, introduce important content-area language, and help develop speaking and writing skills. They can be integrated into any existing language arts or core reading programs.
