Neidhart is, after Walther von der Vogelweide, the most significant and most successful minnesinger of Middle High German literature. Following decades of work on revising the entire tradition, this new analytical edition presents the lyrics of all of the songs passed down in tradition under Neidhart s name, together with their melodies.
