This is the true story of Sylvia Bold, an enchantress with the uncanny power to raise the dead to do her bidding, as told by the (at times) foggy memory of her closest - perhaps only - friend. Her life spanned centuries, during which the world changed and evolved drastically, but I truly hope these two hundred pages I have written can do her justice. It's not all about her, of course: There are other creatures; beings that have been living alongside humans unnoticed for years...
