The National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, D.C. – the first museum in the world solely dedicated to championing women through the arts – has a collection spanning five centuries and featuring artists from six continents. NMWA’s new collection highlights catalogue helps readers make connections across art history and discover women artists. Lush imagery features key artworks by Louise Bourgeois, Lalla Essaydi, Frida Kahlo, Hung Liu, Clara Peeters, Faith Ringgold, Niki de Saint Phalle, Amy Sherald, Alma Woodsey Thomas, and many others.
