Nandita: A Story Of Courage

Born into privilege and gently bred, Nandita is nevertheless shackled by society's narrow expectations of how a woman should be. Married off at 18 to a man she knows little about, Nandita is thrust into a world of violence, where patriarchy rears its ugly head at every step. Expected to be a dutiful wife and daughter-in-law in the face of sexual and emotional abuse, Nandita tries to salvage her marriage while struggling to maintain some semblance of independence.
