Mystery of the Missing Fur

The Mystery of the Missing Fur follows Bernard's adventures after he rescues three Amazonian monkeys and a zoo full of animals (including two depressed tigers, warthogs, lemurs, gorillas and mandrills) from the clutches of a vain TV celebrity, a short-sighted trophy hunter and a grinder of animal bones.Along the way, he makes friends with a giant anteater called Armando, Loki an over-fluffed cat and a human girl with an unfortunate name. Together, they solve the not-so-mysterious mystery of the missing fur and, most importantly, what happened to Bernard's parents, famous conservationists. The book's themes are trophy hunting, conservation, poaching and loss.
