This book is about understanding individuals with autism. The sad part is that there are people who treat those who have special needs as though they are misfits. They go as far as to bullying and teasing them, but those closest to them show them nothing but love. Regardless to if the child has autism or special needs, this is devastating to a child. So as this author writes this book, she can understand the pain and heartaches that parents and their children often endure, because she too was the parent of a special needs child. There are those that can understand children with autism and special needs and because of this, they are loved, because they are understood.
