Mwalimu's Dream: Clean Water for His Village in Kenya

Mwalimu was born in Kenya where his family lived a simple but happy life together. As a teenager, he applied for a scholarship to come to America as an exchange student. He lived with a typical family in Iowa where he attended a public high school.While enjoying American, Mwalimu need he should share the greatest need in his life. His village needed clean and safe drinking water. It became his dream to raise the funds to drill a water well for his village. Together with his host family, his school and community, his exchange coordinator and a pastor from Kenya, they set out to raise the funds needed to make this dream come true.Mwalimu is the author of this children's book and Arina Russkikh from Russia is the artist.
