The novel is generally inspired by left-bank novels and films such as Flanders Road, and the writing method absorbs the expressions of the main literary schools of the 20th century, which is a typical stream of consciousness work. The novel begins with the unrestrained "e;I"e; on the humid coast of a long summer, taking a vacation with my family, trying to break the stereotypes and enter other people's houses, and want to explore the charm of wisteria flowers. It ends with "e;I"e; being buried under a wisteria tree in old age. As a result, my different cognitions and experiences of things from youth, middle age, and old age are revealed through the flow of consciousness method of the intersection of memory and reality. Those romantic pasts, unforgettable lives and cognition of ideals have become more and more profound, thus highlighting the transformation of growth and a new understanding of life.
