Marney's missing weasel of a husband has emptied their joint bank account. Margaret the librarian is missing books and videos and something much more valuable. Desperate, both women seek Nora's help. Although she is not the hotshot NYC detective many in town believe she is-a error she plans to straighten out soon-she believes she can handle these problems.The hunt becomes more complex when a body is discovered; when Nora needs to take to the ski slopes (a skill she does not possess); when a man she thinks resembles a Godfather character becomes part of the mix.Meanwhile things heat up between Nora and handsome Sheriff Nick, and Nora's three lovable aunts prepare for something special.
