Murder Investigation, Across the Border

Adam gets assigned to a case in a small town of Mexico. He needs to investigate a murder and find out the murderer, but once he gets there, he realizes that the local police does not let anyone from outside interfere with their cases, so he has to keep his identity hidden and solve the case behind their backs. Everything was going fine, until one day, when he was searching the victims house for any evidence, he saw another person trying to tamper with the evidence. It takes him some time to reach the conclusion and by then, the man was already long gone, so he couldnt follow him. The next day, he wakes up to the news that an earthquake is about to hit the town, and it is bigger than they had anticipated hence, the police enforced sudden evacuation of the town. Stuck between solving the case and saving his life, Ada decided to solve it before he saves his life since he was already very close. One thing leads to another, and Adam ends up solving the case in 7 days instead of 30, which was the time given to him by his boss.
